Continually striving for the best possible individual patient outcomes, this state-of-the-art technology allows A/Professor Kurmis to provide an even higher degree of surgical precision in the preparation and implantation of knee replacement components. ELECTIVE SURGERY BACK ON TRACK!
The team at Kurmis Orthopaedics are so pleased to announce that – after a hectic few weeks of ‘catching up’ after the necessary delays imposed by the nationwide COVID-19 surgery restrictions – we are now ‘back on track’ with our elective surgery operating and consulting services. We have recommenced our normal consulting at our central Hutt Street (Adelaide) location – providing services to our existing patients and new referrals.
All patients being seen for face-to-face consultations will still be asked to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire prior to their appointment and may also be asked to undertake point-of-care surface temperature testing. Patients who feel unwell, have respiratory symptoms or have had known close contact with active COVID-19 cases are asked to not attend in person. Similarly, patients who have had a COVID-19 screening test – but have not yet received their result – are requested to not attend in person. To help maintain public safety, and in keeping with current recommendations, a maximum of one (1) nominated person may accompany the patient for a face-to-face appointment and will be asked to undertake the same screening processes as outlined above.
To arrange an appointment, or for any other questions relating to the care we can offer, please feel free to contact us directly via 0479 147 400 or ( admin@kurmisorthopaedics.com.au ).
Please continue to take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
